An extremely useful and understandable book about growing up. It is written simply and interestingly. It is not overloaded with information and does not shock the child with its content. The information is presented consistently and concisely. It is important that the author pays special attention to the story of changes that occur with the opposite sex. The author pays special attention to preparing the child physically and, more importantly, mentally for the upcoming changes, inspires calmness and confidence, and emphasizes respect for all those who are in the transition from childhood to adolescence, respect for the changes that occur with the body. It will also be useful for parents to read.

Raising a child is undoubtedly a very difficult and important process, so you have to approach it professionally. One of the most important things is to educate the child sexually – to tell, to show, to talk to the child about this topic. This is what this book teaches – it can be given to the child to read by himself, the parent can read the book aloud or read it and retell it in his own words, using the correct and verified approach described in the book. The book describes the period of a child’s growth from ages 6-8 to 18+. It describes the process of a child’s growth, the process of organ growth, the process of sexual maturation and, of course, psychological maturation. It tells how acne appears, how sweat is secreted, why it is needed, how to take care of yourself and how to control your emotions and mood swings. Definitely an important book, there is a vocabulary for a child to understand the words correctly, there are pictures and descriptions, infographics and text, I recommend having for yourself and your child, every parent of a boy. Thanks to #knigolav and the translators for publishing important books on the topic of growing children.

A wonderful book by #knyholav publishing house “How I grow up. A guide for boys.” In general, I adore this publishing house, and this book is very necessary for boys who are growing up and have no idea what is happening to them.
In general, all children sooner or later want to become adults, but they do not always know what exactly it means to be an adult. This book reveals the secrets to those who have just started to grow up and those who only dream of this growing up. Boys, as well as girls, are very concerned about this topic, but they do not always show it. This book explains in a very simple way the not-so-simple or even very complex processes that happen to a boy’s body and emotions during this expected growing up.
As they say: “He who owns information owns the world.” Of course, not on this scale, but you still need to be aware. When a guy knows what is happening to him, he is confident and reacts to changes in his body without unnecessary worries. The book is very good, everything is laid out in processes, without unnecessary information. I recommend it to anyone who has a son.

I really recommend to parents of boys who are entering this difficult puberty age to get him this wonderful book, which will be an aid for him in this not easy but important period of life. The boy’s body in adolescence is very much changed both externally and internally. Hormonal restructuring literally drives guys crazy and does not give peace to live, learn and so on. Personally I was very scared of the changes in my body at this age. When you can’t really figure out what’s really going on with you. Please save both your nerves and the nerves of your growing man at this stage. This book is very clear, detailed and interesting tells why, why and how the changes in the body of a young man. It also talks about how best to survive it and what to deal with. I really liked the book. I strongly recommend that all parents think about buying it and before you give it to your child better read it yourself to at least know what it is about. Thank you.

Our boy is 9 years old, and it’s not that we wanted to tell him everything as soon as possible, but there has never been a taboo in our family to discuss the peculiarities of a woman’s or a man’s body, their relationships, etc.
So the child understood perfectly well what was happening to the couples.
But what happens inside oneself and how the body should develop, how moods and attitudes towards everything around change are even more important and usually not easy to explain on the fingers.
That’s why a well-designed book with tiny details that help to paint the overall picture came in handy.
At first, my son was a little skeptical that it was not a detective story or an adventure. But very quickly the book became indispensable. He doesn’t read it anymore, but rather looks at it, constantly looking at it before going to bed. There were almost no questions and clarifications, not because it was embarrassing, but because everything is very clear and clearly stated.
I recommend this book one hundred percent and believe me, 9 years is not too young for such information)
The pictures do not make you laugh, the texts do not make you laugh, everything is honest and simple. There is nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to hide, and the child understands that everything is going according to plan, understands what to expect.
If we can easily tell children that they will lose their baby teeth and grow molars, why should we make a secret of other natural changes in their bodies?)
