The story of a young woman who began to get to know herself as an adult. Because society imposes on us every day some certain stencils that we should live by and in which we get lost. Here we will talk about doing what you like and not doing what you don’t like. Does it sound obvious? Or do you find reasons to justify years of patterns?
This book is about feeling life, fighting fears, forgiveness, and learning about yourself and the world. There is also a lot of travel, food, and romantic and dramatic relationships. I especially recommend it to those who feel at a crossroads and are afraid to take responsibility for their lives.

Finally, I read the book that was all the rage on Instagram. I couldn’t form an opinion about it because the reviews were so diverse. So I decided that I needed to read and evaluate it.
To be honest, at first I thought from the title of the book that it would be an intriguing novel. But no. This is a real confessional book in which we learn about the life of the main character. It’s frank. It is an aspiration. It’s a desire to show that everything can be changed.
Life is unbearable.
The man does not understand.
There is no point in existing.
A long time of trying, but no children.
Tears.
Despair.
Depression.
But at one point you hear a voice.
It’s sweet and beautiful.
The voice comes from inside you.
It’s you.
Who wants to save yourself.
To give a second chance.
And then your journey begins. 3 periods of life, 3 changes of environment, 3 new discoveries and 3 verbs that will give you hope. Eat, pray, love.
This is her path. And she has to walk it alone.
Beautiful Italy and its delicious dishes.
India. Prayers and meditations. Inner personality growth and spiritual development. This part I especially liked.
Bali. And here there is only love.
I really liked the book. I discovered a lot of new things for myself. But sometimes I did not understand the actions of the heroine, but we are human. Unfortunately, the book is for one time, to learn lessons and make a reboot when you need it

Before reading it, I thought this book was some kind of “soap opera”, but it pleasantly surprised me with its down-to-earthness and interesting line.
If you are bogged down in everyday life, don’t see the point of existence, or don’t enjoy life, then switch yourself along with the main character of Eat, Pray, Love. In the book, we first see stereotypical thinking about building a successful career, a large and modern house with the latest fashion, an ideal family, and what our heroine is horrified by, she realizes that she wants to live her life first and foremost, and goes in search of her self, and finds it in simple and accessible things – food, travel, meditation, and love. For me, the best part is the chapter about Italy, Gilbert talks about it so vividly that I just want to go there and taste something delicious.
Go through all the stages of freeing yourself with this book, and watch the movie of the same name afterwards to fully enjoy this atmosphere.

This book turned out to be a small journey, the author invites the reader to visit Italy, Indonesia and India. The book is divided into three parts, and in each of them the main character learns something new, opens up new horizons and colors of life.
After a heartbreaking experience, Liz decides to travel in order to gain strength, find herself, inner balance and meaning in her life. After being disappointed in her family life and despairing of personal happiness, she really needs it.
In Italy, she will learn how to eat deliciously, not just to absorb food, but to savor it, and you must admit, where else can you do that but in Italy?
In India, she will learn to pray with her heart and soul, with an open heart.
And in Indonesia, she will find love, crazy and passionate, as if for the first time.
At first I thought the book was rather boring, but then I got so engrossed in it that I couldn’t put it down. This story is about the spiritual rebirth of a woman, it teaches you to love and appreciate life, regardless of your circumstances and age.
I would highly recommend reading this book to all women.

Is there at least one person who hasn’t heard of this book? Or hasn’t seen the movie starring Julia Roberts? I don’t think there are any more.
⠀
I also succumbed to this mass psychosis. I was waiting for an incredible story where a woman learns to live anew after a divorce, searches for the meaning of life and spends a year alone with herself. And that during this year, she would rethink her values and eventually the main character would be lucky.
⠀
To some extent, it is true. So, there are three parts and three countries. First, Elizabeth goes to Italy. This part really resonated with me because I love this country and dream of visiting it. What do you think the main character learns there? That’s right, to eat. To eat and enjoy the process, not just to fill your stomach. A variety of delicious dishes, desserts that I can already imagine eating with Liz.
⠀
The second country was Indonesia, where we learn to pray together with the main character. This part was the least interesting to me. I couldn’t stand the 30-page description of meditation and Elizabeth’s reflections on it all.
⠀
The last part was better, because there we learn to love. And then he appears. A beautiful prince with whom you want to spend your life.
⠀
In general, I barely finished this book. I’m definitely not going to re-read it. Maybe the problem is my age, because I don’t understand a lot of things about the life of a divorced woman.
