The Courtyard of Darkness and Wrath is a continuation of a series of books about the Fae people and their relationship with each other and humans. The previous part ended with the victory over Amaranthe and for an observant reader, the book left many unanswered questions. Therefore, the second part will begin to answer them. I would say that the book The Courtyard of Darkness and Wrath was a book of surprises and unexpected twists and turns for me. In this book, the characters are revealed in a completely different way and you can feel their changes.
Firstly, the author introduces new characters who will reveal the story from a completely different angle than it was in the first part.
Secondly, Rizend and his story shocked me a bit, I certainly suspected that something was not completely clear with this character, but I did not expect the twists and turns that happened
Thirdly, I liked the way Feyra behaved more towards the middle of the book, her actions began to seem logical to me, she was no longer the troubled person who came to Feyra’s world as a retribution for someone else’s life.
Therefore, I want to say that I liked the book very much and it is a pleasure to see the continuation of this story!

I’m just in love with this series!
The first part, unlike the second and third, is not as good, but it is also incredibly interesting! The book starts right away with dynamic events, and I love that!
As for the second part, the Courtyard of Darkness and Wrath, there are really interesting and dynamic (sorry for the tautology) events happening there. We are introduced to incredible characters who will be revealed even more in the third part. they are the most wonderful!
Each of them, and especially the main characters, are revealed from a different angle and become very strong and friendly.
There are events that show the lives of the characters and their interaction with each other, which is very interesting and makes you fall in love with absolutely everyone!
There is a lot to say, but I have so many emotions that I forgot everything hahahahaha) these books are really worth your attention. i’m almost sure that this series will become your favorite or one of!
The books are on the shelf waiting for me to read them, but I keep putting it off because I realize that when I do, it won’t be long before I can do it again.
I recommend it!!!

Finally some variety after the horrible life in Pidhiria! Preparations for the wedding with Temlin are going as badly as possible. There is a strange Ayanta and a very lavish banquet for which the entire Court of Spring is preparing, but Temlin’s omissions irritate Feyra and his constant care, which has grown so much since Amarantha that she has almost no freedom and space.
Also beloved are Rizend and the Court of the Night, who made the second part more fun, lighter, and extremely interesting, thanks to Cassian and Reese himself. Their jokes, their relationship with Asriel, their silly behavior – it made me read on to find myself back in the territory of the House of Wind and the “creatures” who lived there.
Mysteries, intrigues, and very interesting characters that we have never seen before. New trials for the Fae Archeron, a new life, new friends, and the freedom to fly away from Temlin.

Unlike the first part of this series, “The Courtyard of Thorns and Roses,” which contained a lot of “superfluous” information, this part is more “lively,” so to speak. The second part, “The Courtyard of Darkness and Wrath,” differs from the first part, primarily in the dynamism and development of the main character.
Also in this part, we get to know another part of Priyanka and its inhabitants. Many things are explained, the true motives of the characters’ actions and their “true” faces are revealed.
“Sarah Maas’s The Courtyard of Darkness and Wrath begins with Feyra preparing for her wedding to Temlin, for whom she died in the first part of the series. But everything does not go well. Temlin tries to lock Feyra in a “safe golden cage” and ignores her wishes. Both of them have not yet recovered from their experiences, but they try to pretend that everything is normal. Eventually, Feira is kidnapped from the wedding, but deep down, she doesn’t really mind.
Feira finds herself in another courtyard called the Courtyard of Darkness and Wrath. She learns to read and write, gets acquainted with the rest of Prithia and the inhabitants of the Court of Darkness and Wrath, and more.
It remains to be seen whether she will want to return to the Court of Thorns and Roses, to Temlin.
If you didn’t really like the book, try reading the second one. Most likely, you will be captivated by this “journey” of the Faerie.

You know that feeling when expectations and reality don’t match? Well, the second installment of the Sarah J. Maas Fayre book series didn’t just exceed my expectations, it blew my mind!!! It is so much better than I expected. It was fantastic, fabulous, intriguing, funny, romantic… The author took everything I love about books and put it on the pages of one work.
So, the book begins with a happy ending. We already know what an incredible feat Feira accomplished and how she saved her blond prince (yes, that’s right – the brave girl saved the Ruler of the Court of Spring from the evil “dragon” a la the knight in shiny armor). And in theory, we should read about them happily ever after. But I didn’t dislike Tamlin for nothing; his luscious sweetness and correctness made me want to knock him or Feira for that choice in love. Anyway, there’s no smell of happily ever after here: Feira is locked up at home, like in a cage, and isolated from the outside world. The wedding is terrifying, a sense of doom, and the groom is a source of doubt and disappointment. But at the last second, Rizand appears (I have a good feel for characters, after all) and saves Feira.
It turns out that the world is preparing for war and Amaranth is just the tip of the iceberg of the troubles yet to come. Friends become enemies, and enemies…so they weren’t. New trials, difficult decisions, and dangerous adventures await Fayre. And the ending… honestly, I’ve already started reading the third part, because you can’t take it much longer here, the intrigue eats away!!!
Despite the solid volumes, the book is a very easy read. The author’s style and excellent quality translation allow you to quickly get through the text and fully enjoy the story and characters. Definitely recommend!!!
