I love making desserts, and I try to experiment with them. We need to gradually move away from those fat cream cakes that were popular twenty years ago. After all, the choice of desserts is so diverse and multifaceted that everyone, even those who are in favor of a healthy lifestyle and proper diet can find interesting, delicious and healthy desserts.

This book was given to me for a holiday, and I am very happy with such a gift. After all, this publication is a real treasure trove of useful tips. Here you can find your favorite pastries, making Christmas cupcakes, cookies and cakes, but there are also complex desserts, cakes, the preparation of which will take a lot of time, but the result is worth it.

Separately, I want to note the quality of the book. The enlarged format, beautiful white sheets with bright color photos and step-by-step photo recipes make the book interesting and encourage you to study it over and over again. The recipes that I have already had a chance to cook with it turned out great. Everyone was pleased with both the taste and the presentation of the desserts. You really can find desserts for every taste and season here. So, thanks to the book, there are many more interesting culinary experiments ahead of me.

Did I like this book? It’s a rhetorical question, because of course I did. I have not yet baked anything of the beauty described there, but I have already felt the aroma of home baking, comfort, and “sweet life,” not just “sweet Sunday.” It was created with love and it shows.

The products are affordable, the recipes are clear, and most importantly, the author encourages us to create. I think experiments are also welcome. I hope that “Sweet Sunday” will eventually turn from a cookbook into a cookbook, read and rewritten with your own recipes and notes. And probably its only drawback is where to find the time to cook it all.

I am grateful to the author. It turns out that she is not only an interesting host, a beautiful woman, a good mother, but also a wonderful cook who lovingly gives us her recipes. Personally, I am ready to bring these vivid images into reality. Valentyna has repeatedly said that these are family recipes from her grandmother and mother… I hope they will also take root in my family. We are waiting for the sequel, and yet I would like to have a place for notes next to each recipe to make it my own recipe book.

It is no exaggeration to say that the above book is the embodiment of the dreams of every dedicated sweet lover. At least for me, this collection was a real discovery, because after reading it, I learned recipes for many delicious desserts that will now often appear on our family’s festive table. For example, in the near future I will definitely try the colored curd-mousse cake, which is made on a biscuit base and consists of three types of mousse: currant, raspberry and vanilla (I have not yet tasted this deliciousness only because I want to use this year’s fresh berries, which are much tastier than frozen ones), but I have already managed to cook and appreciate the chocolate biscuit with cherries

The book “Sweet Sunday” based on Valentina Khamaiko’s recipes is a real work of art. It is incredibly pleasant to hold it in your hands, turn the pages, look at the photographs and the rest of the decoration. All the recipes are divided into calendar places, with one dish for each Sunday. Earlier, the author told us that she carefully selected and practiced each of them in her own kitchen at night, when all her family members (husband and children) were asleep.

It should be emphasized that the recipes in the collection are viable and realistic. The necessary ingredients are available to ordinary Ukrainians.

In addition to the recipes for sweet treats, the book contains five recipes for savory dishes. The book ends with a star recipe for honey cake from TV presenter Natalia Moseychuk, which we made the very first time after purchasing this cookbook. My family and I really liked the result, so I plan to repeat it many times, as well as to taste the rest of the dishes.

I am sure that this book will be the perfect gift for any holiday for lovers of affordable but exquisite cooking!

This book very successfully and professionally presents a whole collection of the best ideas from the culinary section “Sweet Sunday” of the show “Breakfast. Day Off” show.
