I was fortunate enough to become a trustee of the book Paisley Rabbit and the Treehouse Contest by Vremya Masters Publishing. My child and I love Peter Rabbit stories and have a whole collection of them, so we were sure that we would like Paisley Rabbit stories as well.
The first thing I want to mention about this book is the illustrations. They are simply incredible. I wanted to visit Paisley’s house: sit by the fireplace, swim in the pool, read a book in the library. We read the electronic version of the book, and now we really want a paper book, because the pictures are very beautiful.
Now to the story. Honestly, I’m not sure what age it is intended for, it’s a bit complicated for a three-year-old, and I think it will be a very simple story for a little older. For some reason, the phrase “think big” caught my eye and ear. I don’t know why, it seems to be appropriate, and it appears only twice in the text. Maybe it’s just hard for me to imagine myself telling my child “you always think big,” because I don’t use this phrase.
But if you don’t nitpick, the book is good. We liked it, and if there are other stories about the inventive, ambitious and intelligent rabbit Paisley, we will be happy to read them.

What is the most valuable thing about children’s books?
For children, it’s an easy and exciting story, and for parents, it’s the lessons that children can learn from the story.

We read this book with enthusiasm together with our son.
It has many interesting points to draw the child’s attention to:
– relationships, support in the family;
– gratitude and love for other people;
– the ability to make decisions, search for information, and form a coherent idea;
– courage and patience;
– the ability to recognize their mistakes.
The book Paisley Rabbit is written simply, and the events take place sequentially and quickly enough. The text is complemented by wonderful illustrations that help to imagine the characters, the main moments of the story, and the houses that she and her parents built for the competition.
I am impressed by Paisley as a person who knows how to think, form ideas, and is not afraid to propose and implement them. She is a strong personality, exactly the kind of character who shows a child a great example of behavior at home and outside.
We are delighted with the book, I sincerely recommend it ❤️

The story of a little rabbit who did not give herself a single chance to doubt her own abilities. A fluffy one who realized her dream despite the fact that she had no father, a sick brother, and no support from her friends. The girl, who read many books, carefully cherished an idea that she was not afraid to convey to adults, supported the workers who helped her with words and deeds, and did not even think to stop on the way to her goal. I am sure that this story will inspire many children not to be afraid of difficulties, not to pay attention to life circumstances that prevent them from reaching their goals, to appreciate true friends and family support, and to always remember that any opponent can be defeated if you have a great desire and believe in your dream!

This is how I would characterize this incredibly warm book.
The summer is over. Paisley the rabbit and other forest animals decided to take part in a tree house competition. Will she be able to cope with this task, because her brother is sick and she doesn’t even have a father?
The book touches upon the issues of friendship and ridicule, mutual assistance and worthy defeat.
I think it can be read with preschoolers. Kids will be able to get acquainted with various animal characters. The book helps to trace the changes of the seasons.
The book is also relevant for younger students. On the example of Paisley the rabbit, children will learn to believe in themselves and not to give up.
And what about the illustrations? They are just incredibly cute.
Thank you to the authors for the opportunity to dream and return to childhood, when a tree is an airplane, a house, and a fortress
