This book is the literary debut of the famous Ukrainian singer Andriy Kuzmenko (Kuzma), the leader of the band Skryabin, who died in a car accident on February 2, 2015.
The collection includes two novels and lyrics to the band’s famous songs. The first story – “Me, Pobeda and Berlin” – is imbued with a bright sense of humor, a cheerful mood and will surely make even very serious readers laugh. The story revolves around an old and shabby Pobeda car in which Andriy and his friend Bard travel to the German capital.
The second story, “The City Where Money Doesn’t Walk,” is a completely different genre. This is a sad story about a girl Alice who, by coincidence, finds herself in a terrible city where hatred, unheard-of cruelty and inhuman orders reign – a city from which there is no turning back…
