We have several Erwin Moser books and we are very happy with all of them. But our favorite characters are Manuel and Didi. These mice are just a miracle.

Basically we bought a book in Ukrainian, although both we and the child speak both languages, Russian and Ukrainian, we do not care what language the book is in. But in Russian did not want to take, because pahabny translation, and the names of the mice, Manuel and Didi, as in the original, translated as rubbish Shustrik and Tishka. Well, okay still Shustrik somehow neutral for the mouse, but Tishka here and where did he come from?

I really like the quality of the book – it has a lot of illustrations, and, although they are almost the same, but like a large comic book illustration, which is very convenient for kids. The text, unlike the first book about Manuel and Didi, is much more, it turns out, as it were, for a larger age audience, with reading skills.

Another thing I really like about these two books is the little illustrative detail – at the bottom of the page, under each illustration, there are mini pictures that also convey the meaning of the story.

The book “Manuel and Didi. The Second Big Book of Little Mouse Adventures” is a continuation of the story about cheerful mice who are always in search of new adventures. We were very pleased with the purchase of the first book about the adventures of two little mice, Manuel and Didi, because the children themselves began to look at it with interest and tried to read it themselves, which means that the book is really interesting for children.

All the adventures of the little mice, as in the first part, are divided into four parts, into four seasons, which helps the child to get to know and learn all the seasons better.

I really liked the fact that the book “Manuel and Didi. The Second Big Book of Little Mouse Adventures” is large and contains a lot of different stories about the adventures of two little mice, it is very interesting for children to read adventure stories and look at the pictures. The drawings in the book correspond to the content, there is not too much text on the pages, so for those children who are starting to read independently, this is a great book.

The favorites of children and their parents – Manuel and Didi mice – are back! They are just as funny, cheerful, restless and easy to invent!

Our whole family was so enthusiastic about the first book that we couldn’t pass up the second one.

Just like in the first book, we live with the mice all year round – spring, summer, fall and winter are spent in fun adventures.

The stories are easy to read for the first time, interesting for preschool children, short enough, but at the same time, self-contained. They promote creative thinking, imagination, teach friendship, love, foster kindness, and show the importance of mutual assistance.

Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed with a few stories in this book, but they can be used for educational purposes, explaining to a child how to behave in a particular situation. In particular, the story of Manuel and Didi destroying an uninteresting book cannot be left without additional comments and discussions, unless, of course, you want to see your house covered with airplanes from the pages of your home library one day… In my opinion, such stories show once again how subtly Erwin Moser portrayed the main characters – just like our children – as cute, interesting, imaginative, but sometimes a little bit pests and vermin, not out of malice, but out of ignorance.

The books are not large, so they are perfect for traveling. The pages are soft, so you should teach your child to treat books with care.

I highly recommend both parts of Manuel and Didi for children aged 2+.

This book tells the story of the adventures of two friends – Dido and Manuel, mice. They are inquisitive and restless and are always eager to do something and go somewhere. Every season they try to have fun and have fun: they explore small volcanoes, decide what to do with thistles, or go on exciting journeys.

Each story is small in size (although it takes 5-6 pages, each page has only a few sentences of content, and the rest are funny drawings). That’s why my daughter read this book herself (several stories at a time) and was delighted, even reading it to her parents at night. The wonderful illustrations are a good complement to the small and easy-to-read stories. Moreover, each story has drawings for the story itself, as well as small pictures that do not quite correspond to the content of the story, but they are very funny, look like cartoons, and you can make up a small story based on them.

In general, the book is bright and beautiful. It is convenient for reading to kids at night and for independent reading by a child.
