We have a set of two books. In general, we have all of Erwin Moser’s books translated into Ukrainian. My child “swallowed” the first part of Manuel and Didi in one go. She really liked the short funny stories about the adventures of two mice, sometimes instructive, and sometimes just for easy reading. We borrowed the second part from the library. But we re-read it as actively as the first one. The second part is no less interesting and inventive than the first. The child liked it. So we had to buy the second part and add another wonderful book to our home library. I don’t regret it at all, especially since our second reader is growing up. By the way, the letters in the book are large, and there is not much text in the story, so the books are quite suitable for the first reading.

These books about the fidgety towers Manuel and Didi attract, first of all, by their funny and cute drawings, big and bright. These illustrations create the atmosphere of the stories, they prevail in the books, because the stories about the adventures of the mice are very small, each page takes up only a few lines. And so these books will be interesting even for younger preschoolers who can’t yet concentrate on one thing for long, they need a quick change of illustrations and events.
