Don’t believe the description that says it’s for 12 years old. I read it when I was 23. I devoured the entire series and the last 2 books (I read in the original) were incredible.

Personally, I was glad I read the original because I had the opportunity to start the fifth one right after finishing the fourth one.

I’ll wait until the whole series is released and buy the Ukrainian version to put on my shelf. And of course, I will return to the story someday, because it gives me incredible feelings of comfort. It’s like Harry Potter but for people who missed Harry Potter.

I love this book because it is here that the characters start doing global things instead of small ones.

Do you miss London, which is teeming with various ghosts?

And also for insanely spooky adventures?

Then it’s time to return to your favorite fantasy series.

The fourth part of the cycle is coming up, and we are slowly moving towards the finale. The mysteries are getting even more mysterious, the cases are getting more complicated, and the enemy is getting more dangerous. You never know what danger awaits our heroes this time.

Lockwood’s team undergoes a small reformation: for some reason, Lucy leaves the team. I won’t spoil what happened and how it happened if you’ve read it – you know, if you haven’t, it will be even more interesting to figure it out on your own. Now Lucy is a free agent who can work for other companies that are fighting the ghost invasion. She has more freedom, more opportunities to develop her talent. And, of course, none of her business as a free agent is complete without the Skull. It seems that such changes are good for the girl, but one day Anthony Lockwood appears on her doorstep with an unexpected proposal. An intrigue of intrigues.

In addition to the main problems that the characters face, there will be secondary problems that are no less important. In particular, in a small village, they are talking again about the invasion of ghosts, which are killing a lot of people. Eyewitnesses say that they saw an unknown Shadow sneaking around, leading dozens of ghosts. Our agents will certainly come to the rescue, but this time they will face something not only dangerous, but also unknown.

I like that all the characters develop harmoniously with each installment. They show different character traits, work on the edge of their capabilities, are always curious, but are capable of making mistakes. It already feels like we’re one step closer to learning more about Skull and his past, as well as the Ghostbusters in general. Oh, I have a feeling it’s going to get really, really hot in part five.

Even though I read the books in the series as soon as they come out here, it’s a very autumnal series for me. The eerie autumnal vibe doesn’t leave you until the last page. So if you still don’t know what kind of adventure to get into this fall, I recommend it for both adults and children.
