Harry Potter is my childhood. Harry Potter is a whole generation. Of course, it may sound a bit pretentious, but for me it is.

And now I have it in my hands again. And this is not just the first part of Harry Potter, but a book with talented drawings by Jim Kay. I would like to say a big thank you to the A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA publishing house for this wonderful edition! It is incredible. This book should be taken at least for the sake of the illustrations… They are bright, magical, enchanting… I have not read such a beautifully designed book for a long time.

Each page is a piece of the artist’s inspiration that he shares with readers. Someone will find the illustrations too gloomy, someone inappropriate, but for me they are perfect, colorful, magical. My favorite characters came to life on the pages not only because of the wonderful text, but also because of the wonderful illustrations. Reading this book, you feel the return of the same magic that took hold of us after the first time we read Harry Potter. In addition, there are a lot of incredibly detailed drawings. I especially like Harry in this book. Every time his facial expression is magical and with the slightest shades of emotion.

This book will be the most wonderful gift for the New Year, Christmas, Birthday and other holidays. Read and give only good books!!!

From now on, I can proudly say that my sister’s and even my future children and grandchildren’s acquaintance with the Harry Potter world will be even more interesting and unique. Because what could be better than Harry Potter – only Harry Potter in color!

The exquisite illustrations complement the familiar and beloved text that you have been reading since childhood so well that it is simply impossible to put it down. Getting to know the book before your eyes becomes a real magic that you blindly succumb to and you can’t escape it. And no matter how old you are now, you will still be interested in reading this book again and again, feeling the chalkiness of each page, enjoying the bright supercover.

Despite the somewhat “steep” price, this book is a must-have in your home library. I believe that soon the color Harry series will be in every home, just as now you can find the entire series of regular Harry books in the home of every true book lover. So, hurry up to bookstores and give yourself the long-awaited pleasure of exploring the world of Potter in color – because you deserve it!

The baby loves it. Reading before bedtime is our favorite, and with this book especially! It also impresses adults.

The publication is in Ukrainian. The translation is excellent – in the spirit of Harry Potter.

The illustrations are fantastic! Volumetric, detailed, bright, conveying the right atmosphere!

The picture is present, almost on every page. There is even an illustration of the varieties of dragon eggs.

There is a red ribbon bookmark, which is very convenient (when the book was first opened, the tip of this ribbon was wrapped inside the book, this tip stuck to the pages and left a light pinkish mark on the bottom two pages, after that the ribbon was no longer imprinted)

The text is well readable. In two columns.

I recommend it to everyone! Especially for those who wish to add a quality and colorful edition to their children’s book collection.

The number of advantages of this edition tends to infinity! A new reader can begin his acquaintance with this book, and he is sure to fall in love with this magical world, and a true fan of the series is simply obliged to buy this edition, because it is difficult to imagine such a chic and enjoyable immersion in the stories of little Harry.

Exhausted by the film series and books read and reread a dozen times, I was looking forward to this book with rich illustrations and unreal cool edition – the format is inexpressibly chic – rubberized dust cover, pleasant to the touch and to the eye, The lacing (rag bookmark fixed to the book spine) allows to stop and continue reading at any moment and at any convenient time, the printing and paper quality is very high – you understand at once, that you hold in your hands the book worthy of the most demanding book collector and the best library. No misprints, inaccuracies or errors were found in the book. The typography worked well – the spine is carefully stitched, glued, and performs 100% of its functions. The ink has a nice smell, no sticky pages or streaks. The paper is coated, but not too light reflective – which allows the book to be read without discomfort even in artificial light.

As for the illustrations – Jim Kaye did the impossible and filled this story with even more light and warmth – which added to Rowling’s fantasy and gave a sea of pleasure to all readers. Readers of all ages praised this book – everyone enjoyed it.

I won’t retell the story – you’d better read it yourself, but I’m very grateful to the Ukrainian publishing house “ABABAGALAMAGA” for a great translation (and this is a separate topic – because the modern Russian-language edition drives me into boundless sadness), for the speed of publishing this book in Ukraine, and even repeating the deluxe format of the original edition, for the quality of the product, and for a fairly low price – yes, exactly low – such an edition is very expensive for a publisher – so special thanks!

I recommend to buy as a gift, as well as for their own collection – believe me, this book will be remembered for a long time and will take its rightful place on your bookshelves!)

I am very glad that in Ukraine there is a publishing house that maintains the quality of the book externally, as well as the dignity of the content inside.

– The beautiful coated paper and bright pictures will be appreciated both by a person with an artistic eye and by any parent of their child. I personally am not over 30, but I appreciate the beautiful and high quality things – this book is probably one of them, and it won’t be a waste to read the story even years from now.

– I wouldn’t say the hardcover is exactly leather straight, but it’s a quality binding with gold embossing of the title and a cloth border inside.

– As broadcast by many – a decent Ukrainian translation from the publisher (still cool – when in your country someone maintains a decent look and quality of their products).

To me personally, the book is a little artistic treasure, which was not sorry to spend a certain amount of money and with which, perhaps, and will read to their children …The story of Harry Potter.

I hope in this series Jim Kay won’t stop drawing only on the 1st and 2nd book – and Ababagalamaga Publishing will only pick up in translation and for publication)))
