Of course, the book is perceived differently now. Some events seem a bit naive, perhaps even illogical, and the behavior of the characters is incomprehensible to an adult. I have to make a little effort not to ‘devour’ the book in two evenings. I try to read slowly, light candles, and turn on some ambitious Hogwarts tune or something similar in atmosphere. Then I manage to recall in most important scenes how I ‘saw and perceived’ it all as a child.
And it’s very cool!
But still, it doesn’t quite work. I remember this complete immersion in the book, how it seemed that I could also feel the cold of the school’s dungeons, could stand on the lawn near the castle, hearing the rustle of the grass. How I was really surprised by the key events, but now I can’t feel everything in full as I used to. But I can immerse myself in history and my own memories.
Still, it’s great to know everything in advance. Tears mist my eyes when I read about Snape’s aggressive behavior or Neville’s indecisiveness and forgetfulness, knowing what great people they really are.
Among all kinds of unknown magic and other strangeness, we come across simple and sometimes funny things when the author describes ‘hatred’ of teachers, typical childhood problems, etc.
‘Hiding in the section of books about invisibility, he stopped to listen’ – isn’t it wonderful?

J.K. Rowling is an incredible writer! Each of her new Harry Potter books is a masterpiece! There is nothing superfluous, everything is amazingly and logically combined, wonderful dialogues of the characters, adventures of young wizards keep the reader in suspense all the time! I consider the fifth part to be the best of the whole series. The world where children face the cruelty of adults is a very relevant topic. Hogwarts has a new teacher, who is actually the Assistant Minister of Magic, Dolores Umbridge. She introduces new rules that are supposedly aimed at improving the learning process of children. But in reality, they are meant to prevent young wizards from learning how to defend themselves against dark spells. Harry and his friends realize that the time has come to correct the situation, and so they create a club where children learn to defend themselves. At the same time, the Minister of Magic regularly reinforces Umbridge’s power with lawless decrees in violation of the law. Moreover, Umbridge becomes an inspector for other teachers and now she decides which of them will stay at Hogwarts and which will be fired for professional unfitness.

“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a continuation of the well-known series about the boy who survived.
This is a children’s fantasy, although there are still many adults who enjoy this story.
I started reading this series a little late and didn’t experience any extremely unexpected emotions, but it’s still an incredibly magical story. And if in the previous parts the characters were small, naive, and the adventures were easy and calm, here everything is different. And I really needed this.
The characters grow up in this book, face terrible injustice, challenge the rules, and simply grow morally. They are not children anymore, but teenagers who, in addition to battles and adventures, have ordinary teenage problems. And it’s cool that we see this side of them.
Harry is faced with the fact that his image of his “ideal” parents is crumbling and he is disappointed to some extent. He also learns things that are hard to accept and finally he is extremely emotional. I believed him as if I were there. And this applies not only to Harry, but also to Ron, Hermione, Ginny.
And yet, to some extent, they still remain naive, but where else?
The plot is interesting, though I think it’s a bit long. I wanted more dynamics. Nevertheless, it was a delight to read.
If this story had happened to me at 13, I would have just screamed with delight and I’m very sorry that I started reading it so late.
And what an atmosphere Rowling created! It’s just something. You can almost feel the magic through the pages and there is no better time than autumn to read this series.
I like this part the most so far, so I hope that the next one will be not worse, but even better. Are there any words needed here? No. You just need to read.

After the Dark Lord returned, the wizarding world is no longer the same. The students of Hogwarts are waiting to return to school because they can feel safe there, because Dumbledore, the most powerful wizard of all time, is there. But Harry is in trouble – he tried to save his cousin from Dementor, who for some reason was walking around calmly in front of the Muggles. Harry is waiting for a trial at the Ministry of Magic and is very afraid that he will be expelled from school, or even worse. But everything is fine, and Harry and the school are facing a lot of challenges – Dumbledore may leave his post, and a terribly unpleasant aunt with her propaganda tricks may take his place. Faithful students create Dumbledore’s Army and learn magic on their own, but there is also the Order of the Phoenix, which included Harry’s parents, his godfather Sirius, and Professor Lupin, and of course, many other great, good wizards. As always, incredibly interesting and a very cool translation!

In the fifth installment of the series about the boy who survived, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the reader is revealed one secret – the resumption of the work of a secret order that fights against the Death Eaters, the followers of Lord Voldemort.
What I liked very much is the even greater disclosure of Sirius Black’s character, his interaction with his former classmates, in particular Remus Lupin and Severus Snape.
Speaking of Professor Snape, I was struck by the scene of his school memories and Harry’s reaction to them. This scene, in my opinion, symbolizes the transition to adulthood. Why? First of all, in childhood, the vast majority of children consider their parents to be the ideal – the smartest, the kindest, the best, and everything they do is right.
Here, Harry sees the other side of his father and his friends, sees who they were when they were young, and perhaps for the first time is disappointed in James. I like the description of his emotions at this moment.
We also see that not only James Potter had bad sides – Harry himself has them too. The reader sees the protagonist’s internal struggle: he is afraid of becoming like his sworn enemy Lord Voldemort.
There is also a love story described, which fits in quite well with the overall atmosphere of the castle, because it is natural for teenagers.
The ending of the book broke my heart. Although the book is large in volume, it is read in one breath. I recommend it to everyone!!!
