It’s small, but it’s big. This is the first thing that comes to mind after reading this little encyclopedia for preschoolers about human beings. This book briefly, but very clearly talks about who you are and what roles you may have in society; very briefly and without detail about where babies come from and how many of them there may be; how a child grows, about arms and legs, about the skeleton and joints (why we need them and about fractures), muscles, skin (as an organ, what it is, tanning), heart and blood, blood vessels, pulse, lungs and breathing, oral cavity (teeth, tongue, taste, talk), food travel through the body, vitamins and healthy foods, brain and memory, feelings and emotions, eyes and vision, ears and hearing, nose and sniffles. Also a huge plus is that we are introduced to several health secrets and safety rules on the road, the street, with matches, outlets, household chemicals and medicines. Each page has color pictures, rhymes, and little games/tests for the child.
The look may not be very presentable, but for its small price the book is very worthy.

It is very important for children who will soon become schoolchildren to prepare well for school, to acquire basic skills, to broaden their horizons and significantly enrich their vocabulary, and to gain as much information as possible about the world around them and to get to know themselves better. All of this knowledge will definitely come in handy during school, help them adapt better to their classmates, and develop their ability to work independently.
That is why we have chosen this educational and informative publication – “Encyclopedia of the Preschooler. Human”. On the pages of this fascinating, interesting book, the child will be able to discover a lot of new, cognitive information about the body structure, emotions and feelings, about computers and vitamins, about safety, and also a lot of valuable, still little-known information that will help to better understand themselves and the world around them.
The author of this interesting, very well illustrated children’s edition with a sufficient number of interesting images and drawings is a competent specialist, Yulia Kasparova. This cognitive encyclopedia for preschoolers was published by Ranok Publishing House, which is popular among a wide range of readers today, and belongs to the well-known series of books for children called Encyclopedia of the Preschooler. The information is presented in an accessible and understandable Ukrainian language. The illustrations were created by a very talented and gifted illustrator L. Suslova. Her design beautifully and successfully decorated and enriched the publication itself.
An interesting, informative and very exciting children’s book “Encyclopedia of the Preschooler. Man” will be beneficial for your child, as well as broaden his or her horizons and instill a desire to acquire new knowledge on their own!

At first glance, this is a small and thin book, but in fact it is very interesting and informative. It is exactly what you need to start telling your child about the structure of the human body. The youngest children can just look at the pictures, which are very realistic, and older ones will be interested in the short texts and funny rhymes.
In this encyclopedia, a child will learn about what is inside him or her, what helps them move, why they breathe, what is in their mouth, how food travels, as well as about skin, blood, vitamins, brain, emotions, and senses. There is a separate important page about how a baby is born. As a mother, I liked the section on safety: street traffic rules, handling fire and electricity, and various jars and bottles that are at home and can be dangerous for a child. At the end of the book, you can introduce the child to the basic secrets for maintaining health.
The pages are of high quality, glossy, moderately bright. A convenient format and a small number of pages allow you to take such encyclopedias with you on trips. The pleasant and affordable price of the entire series is also pleasing.

The preschooler’s encyclopedia “Man” by Ranok Publishing House is one of our favorites.
I think it is one of the most successful encyclopedias in this series, so this topic is very close to us. The child recognizes himself or herself, sees the painted children, and it attracts him or her.
At first, the book tells the child who they are and what roles they can play in society. Then it tells how the child is born, very briefly, without details, and then how he grows and develops.
There is a section about the body, what it consists of, what is inside, and there are interesting finger games. There is a bit of information about muscles and how to do exercises in the morning.
It is also interesting to learn about the skin, how important it is, about tanning and that skin color can be different.
There are separate sections on the heart and lungs. All this with bright pictures, so the child perceives this information well.
Our favorite section is about what’s in the mouth, that is, about teeth and tongue. I don’t know why the baby likes it, maybe because there are delicious muffins drawn here. After that, there is a section on the digestive system.
There are also sections on the brain, eyes, nose and ears, emotions and feelings. That is, this book, although very brief, introduces the baby to everything that concerns a person.
You will not regret having such an encyclopedia in your children’s library.
