Buy Book "Cafe at the End of the World (set of 2 books)" in Ukrainian

I decided to buy this set of books when they were still at a discount. Looking through the reviews, I thought that there would be something cool and mind-blowing, after which I would want to radically change my life, but unfortunately, the miracle did not happen.

I bought these books, first of all, not as literature for self-development, but rather as fiction, so I expected the design to be appropriate.

And if the first part still looked like a fiction book, which is why I read it in one evening (actually, it would have been hard to read it because it is thin), I barely finished the second book.

I give the first book a solid 4, it was well written, you really feel that the main character is desperate and trying to somehow take a break from the work that haunts him; and the concept of such a cafe was new. The characters also spoke like ordinary people (relatively).

But I want to give book 2 a tight 2, so the rating is appropriate – 3 points for both.

The second book is just a horror. The characters are cardboard, they speak in abstruse phrases, as if from self-development trainings, phrases that ordinary people would never use (and, as far as I understand it, the main characters of fiction, at least in the “everyday life” genre, are ordinary people with ordinary human problems), even Mike’s child speaks like a programmed robot that will start giving a lecture in 5 minutes about how people need to change their lives – children do not speak like that. Also, there were some chapters in this book where Mike and the main character talked about finances – it hasn’t been so painful for me to read for a long time. In a FICTION book, the characters are seriously talking about the correct distribution of FINANCE. Why do I need it? I came here for the story, not the money.

If the author wanted to publish his book so badly (or rather, books, judging by the list mentioned at the end of the book in the “About the Author” section), he could have published a book on self-development, instead of trying to do what he is not very good at – writing fiction. Perhaps he was trying to reach a wider audience in this way, but personally, I will not buy any more books by this author, they are not worth the money I paid for them (even at a discount).

What do I want to say in general? I will not recommend this book to my friends and acquaintances. The author has written about obvious things that I already know and have known before, and, given the realities in which we live, not all of my compatriots will be able to realize everything he has written so accurately.

How often do we think about where we should go, what our mission in life is, what we can do for humanity? It seems to me that in the 21st century, more and more people are thinking about such questions.

Everyone is at different levels of self-development.

If you’ve already started looking for something, thinking about something, but don’t know exactly where to start, this set of two wonderful books will be useful to you.

First of all, the covers are so fascinating at first sight. It’s just amazing, the books are nice to hold in your hands and your mood improves just by admiring the book, it’s relaxation.

And secondly, the text. It seems like such simple stories, with a touch of fantasy and wonder, but how much wisdom and truth they contain!

Try to understand for yourself what you really want to do, what you want to do, what you don’t mind spending your time on. Act, love, don’t be afraid!

After all, if you want to do something with your heart, it automatically means that you already have a knack for it!

Maybe you just need to develop these skills!
