It is interesting that the author Gennady Melamed has all the characters with human names. Apparently, this is done to make the child feel that the animal is his or her friend.

This book is not about the technique of proper brushing. Rather, it is designed to arouse the child’s curiosity – if even a little mouse brushes its teeth, then I need to. And parents can use the same rhyme that Tatyana’s parents tell her when brushing their child’s teeth.

The book contains an age restriction of 1+, although I don’t think it makes sense. For a 1.5-year-old, the plot is not yet clear. So from this point of view, the book is more suitable for older children. And in terms of the book’s “endurance”, the cardboard is strong enough to withstand “reading” by babies up to a year old.

From the first minutes of his life, the baby begins to get acquainted with the world around him and, most importantly, with the concept of hygiene. An integral part of a baby’s morning and evening hygiene is brushing his or her teeth, even if there are only one or two of them. Teaching a child to have independent oral hygiene is an extremely important step in order to maintain a beautiful and healthy smile. Gennadiy Melamed’s book “Brush Your Teeth Every Day” is a useful book for your child. Its main character, Tetyana, a mouse, will encourage your child to brush her teeth every day with funny rhymes. Even though the mouse didn’t know how to brush, she took the brush and brushed the bunny’s teeth so thoroughly that the bunny’s ears were covered in toothpaste right up to his heels. Her mother bought Tetiana a brand new toothbrush and toothpaste, and she eagerly repeated after her mother how to brush her teeth. From the top and bottom, left and right, she brushed her teeth thoroughly and with great success. Now they will be as white as sugar and will never hurt again.

Daily hygiene routines are more of a habit and a duty than something fun. But a young child needs to be interested, encouraged to brush his teeth and wash his face, and explained how to perform these daily rituals correctly. Gennadiy Melamed’s small book “Brush Your Teeth Every Day” from the “Needed Books” series will be a good helper for both parents and children. Parents will be able to learn from the experience of fairy-tale moms and dads in raising children, because they never shout at the child, do not force them to do something, only by a good example, explanation, they achieve the necessary behavior. And the children will find an interesting story about a little mouse who, thanks to her parents, learned to take care of her teeth properly.

In addition to cognitive information for kids, each book in the series forms a correct idea of a family where both parents take part in the child’s upbringing, they patiently explain seemingly simple things to the child. But we must always remember: for kids, everything around them is unknown, everything “simple” is still unexplored and seems very complicated.
