It’s a beautiful book, a great gift for kids. Interesting illustrations, well-written text. It arouses the interest of children, the book was the first in their acquaintance with the geography of the world. Many interesting recipes to diversify your menu. Well-designed book, well-written step-by-step recipes. The book is in hardcover, so you can take it with you directly to the kitchen for culinary experiments with your children. We have never had such books in our home library before. We recommend it for children from 5 years old who are interested in traveling and cooking delicacies from different countries and in different seasons.

All recipes are accompanied by good illustrations, and there is even a description of the necessary equipment and cooking time. So, classes with children can be planned in advance to the smallest detail.

All the recipes are delicious and original, so you can open any page and start practicing with your children in the kitchen.

In addition, the book will be enjoyable for adults as well. It is not a shame to give it to your grandmother for a holiday.

A very cool, funny and bright book. Not only my children, but also my whole family liked it. The book “Around the World with Ingrid. Atlas of Tastes” by my favorite publishing house #knigolav is part of the Children’s Shelf series in Ukrainian. The book is recommended for children aged six and older. The authors of this wonderful book are Joe Sharp and Zoe Bazer.

The main characters of the book are the Ingrids, a kind of group of researchers who are interested in food. If your child is interested in cooking, this is an original book for them. This book presents information combining geography and cooking in a very interesting way. With the help of a map of each country, we learn the dishes that are cooked there. The book also contains many recipes from different cultures of the world.

The book “Around the World with Ingrid. Atlas of Flavors” is of fairly high quality printing with a hard cover. The illustrations are very, very interesting and bright, fascinating the eyes of kids, and complement the text of the book well. The book contains sixty-four pages. It is also very interesting for adults. I recommend buying this book.

Is it possible to travel around the world with your children without leaving your home? Is it possible to enjoy a variety of exotic dishes at home? The authors of this book, and we are sure that it is! We have never read such an incredibly interesting culinary travel book before! And how many delicious things we tasted! Mexican spicy street wraps, Italian pizza, unsurpassed Persian rice with meat, delicious Indian curry, Chinese dan dan noodles, Australian fusion burgers… And that’s not all the goodies on the pages of this book! What we cooked together with the kids was incredibly tasty and original!

USA, Mexico, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Sweden, Italy, Morocco, Iran, India, China, Thailand, Australia… All of these countries told us so many interesting things about their culinary secrets and traditions through the Atlas of Tastes, and treated us to their national dishes, which, as it turned out, are not so difficult to prepare.

We were completely delighted with the kaleidoscope of bright countries, exotic and incredible flavors! We are sincerely grateful to the authors and the wonderful publishing house “Knigolav” for the amazingly tasty and interesting travels on the pages of this amazing book!

Today, when the book market is full of cookbooks of various kinds and prices, there are more and more publications for young cooks: each one impresses with its colorfulness, usefulness, and creativity, encourages with its simple recipes, and excites the imagination with the tastes of future dishes prepared with children’s own hands – in short, you want to buy them all! After all, how can you resist the temptation to learn to cook something new, quick and easy and mega-delicious (judging by the illustrations)?

“Around the World with Ingrid. An Atlas of Flavors by Zoe Beiser and Joe Sharp, with illustrations by Chris Dickason, is one of those books that you will definitely return home from the bookstore with (we’ve checked it out). After all, among all the many children’s culinary publications, it is not easy to find one like it. Because this is not just a recipe book with tips and tricks. This is a real trip around the world, which is so easy to do from the comfort of your home (read kitchen), so interesting, exciting and delicious for the whole family! Let’s go!

Your guides on this extraordinary journey will be the Ingrids, a team of brave food explorers led, of course, by the genius of taste, the Chef. Under his auspices, the best experts have gathered: a vegetable connoisseur, a food storage master, a spice guru, a dairy maestro, a seafood fan, a meat guy, and green friends. All of them will share with you the secrets of delicious recipes from the United States, Mexico, Brazil, France, the British Isles, Sweden, Italy, Morocco, Iran, India, China, Thailand, and Australia. Enjoy!

What will surprise you about this edition? Firstly, the extraordinary idea of the authors, who managed to combine extremely informative facts about the world for children (and adults too) with a practically useful component under one cover. Secondly, I liked our translation by Tetiana Kuzmenko: it is really delicious! I sincerely recommend “Around the World with Ingrid. Atlas of Flavors!

If your child is interested in cooking, or is already creating his or her first delicious masterpieces, you should definitely pay attention to the book “Around the World with Ingrid. An Atlas of Flavors” by Jo Sharp and Zoe Bazer. Who knows, perhaps in the future your little chef will become a real culinary genius, and this publication will help him to take the first steps to the top of the art of tastes and get acquainted with the cuisines of different countries.

Personally, I bought this book for my five-year-old nephew, who loves to help his mother in the kitchen and even bakes sponge cake and apple charlotte in a slow cooker, but I confess that this book was useful not only for the kid, I found several recipes on its pages that I took note of (in particular, I learned about hollandaise sauce, which is made from butter, egg yolks, and lemon and used as a dressing for eggs and vegetables). In addition to delicious recipes, children are also invited to learn interesting facts about the taste preferences of different nations of the world and to look at the calendar of wonders, which consists of the dates of important holidays that are somehow related to cooking. To summarize, I would like to note that with the book “Around the World with Ingrid. Atlas of Flavors” is not only useful, but also interesting and fun to learn to cook, so I advise you to buy this informative publication for all kids who like to create various delicacies with their own hands.
