Atlas of Tastes” by my favorite publishing house #knigolav is part of the Children’s Shelf series in Ukrainian. The book is recommended for children aged six and older. Personally, I bought this book for my five-year-old nephew, who loves to help his mother in the kitchen and even bakes sponge cake and apple charlotte in a slow cooker, but I confess that this book was useful not only for the kid, I found several recipes on its pages that I took note of (in particular, I learned about hollandaise sauce, which is made from butter, egg yolks, and lemon and used as a dressing for eggs and vegetables). In addition to delicious recipes, children are also invited to learn interesting facts about the taste preferences of different nations of the world and to look at the calendar of wonders, which consists of the dates of important holidays that are somehow related to cooking.
