Volume 3” is the third part of a gorgeous three-volume collection of fairy tales, which is a real decoration in our home library, because in addition to all the famous fairy tales, the collection also has incredibly beautiful illustrations drawn by the best artists, such as Kost Zavro, Ivan Sulima, Kateryna Shtanko, Victoria Palchun, Inokentiy Korshunov, Oleh Petrenko-Zanevsky, Vladyslav Yerko.

In my opinion, illustrations are of great importance, especially in children’s books, because they help to imagine the world of fairy tales better and more vividly, and some illustrations in this book are drawn on a whole page and, in my opinion, can have the character of a real work of art, be presented as an independent painting.

I would also like to note the quality of the publication, which is top-notch, as the book has a hard cover, white, dense, glossy pages, which are well stitched.

Today, in my free time, I devoted a day to reviewing 100 Fairy Tales – all three volumes. Like the previous two, the third volume is made of high-quality paper in a large format, colorful with fantastic illustrations for each fairy tale. I would like to note that in all three volumes, rarely used and outdated words are written in the margins with explanations, which is very useful and instructive for both children and adults. This particular volume has become more interesting to me in terms of cognitive development. Flipping through the pages of the book, I realized that it contains fairy tales I had not read before. The two previous volumes contain more popular and familiar fairy tales, some of which I know and tell my son before bedtime (now he wants to look at the pictures rather than listen to the story).

The book captivates at first sight – looking at the cover, one immediately becomes curious – what is there inside! And every fairy tale there is special, interesting and new! This three-volume set has become a great addition to our books and will be a joy to look at for years to come.

There is no doubt that this is a luxurious book. It attracts readers with its appearance and design alone. And the content of the book is also well filled. This (last) volume contains 34 folk tales that were recorded in different parts of Ukraine, although the authors of some of them are unknown. This volume contains many fairy tales that are not very common, most of which we even read for the first time in this book. And children are interested in this – to read not a well-known fairy tale, but something new, but just as exciting. I would also like to note that this volume somehow selects fairy tales in such a way that many of them feature evil spirits or equally scary snakes. Moreover, all of them are depicted so vividly and frighteningly in the pictures that the child was even afraid to look at them and waited for us to turn the page. It seemed to me that there were fewer such fairy tales in the previous volumes.

The book has fantastic illustrations. They very accurately convey the content of the fairy tales: in some tales they scare, in others they surprise with unusual images and events, in others they make you laugh. All fairy tales are very different, but they are remembered for their dynamic plot, instructive character, and the bravery and ingenuity of most of the characters.
